Utility Operator

AGE Refining, Inc. is accepting applications for a Utility Operator to join our team. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to: handling, testing, & adjustment of chemicals, monitoring cooling system operations, and testing of production samples. Position ensures all aspects of the water quality including Boiler feedwater, Cooling Towers, RO units and corrosion inhibiters for Preflash/Crude towers throughout the refinery. Also assists the Crude Operator in emergency situations.

Qualified applicants must know hazards of chemicals and proper PPE and be able to perform the essential duties of the position. Must be able to perform physical demands of position (to include lifting up to 50 lbs.) and will be required to fit-test for a respirator and self-contained breathing apparatus. High school diploma or GED required and one year of oil refining experience preferred, but not required.

Instrumentation Technician Posted 07/22/2010

AGE Refining, Inc. is accepting resumes for an Instrumentation Technician to join our team. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to: maintaining electrical performance for all plant equipment, including repairs, installations, operational inspection, maintaining plant and mobile equipment HVAC systems, calibration of process equipment and instrumentation, detection of potential problems and performance of corrective action to prevent interruption of system operations.

At least two years of related training from college of vocational school and at least four years related experience required. Must have a working knowledge of power transformation and distribution, circuit logic, HVAC systems, voltage-ohm meters, circuit testers, ladder logic and Human Machine Interfaces. Knowledge of Fischer control valves, Rosemount transmitters and Hart communicators a plus. Must be able to perform physical demands of position (to include lifting up to 50 lbs.) and will be required to fit-test for a respirator and self-contained breathing apparatus.

ULSD Outside Operator Posted 07/22/2010

AGE Refining, Inc. is accepting applications for a ULSD Outside Operator to join our team. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to: monitoring all equipment in South Plant units to ensure normal operation, reporting any abnormal equipment operation and making adjustments needed to maintain normal operating parameters. Duties also include performing rounds to ensure reliability and efficiency, equipment inspection as necessary and performance of other duties to maintain on-spec product and normal operation.

Experience with Reformer, NHT, DHT & Crude Unit preferred, but not required. Must be able to perform physical demands of position (to include lifting up to 50 lbs.) and will be required to fit-test for a respirator and self-contained breathing apparatus. High school diploma or GED and two to three years of oil refining experience required.
