When we first started AGE, we decided that having a commitment to the environment is just as important as our commitment to producing a quality product. It is a point of pride with us that we have accomplished both ever since starting our operation.

When AGE purchased the refinery from Howell Hydrocarbons, our first task was to invest in the plant facility and upgrade the equipment to meet clean air requirements. We also began a custom we continue to this day: we have an open door policy for environmental inspectors, and respect that we are collectively working towards the same goals of environmental excellence. Since AGE purchased the facility, we have worked rigorously to take our operations and turn them into an environmental showpiece for the energy industry.

Our commitment to the environment also includes education. From the owner to the newest member of the AGE team, we continue to educate all employees on the importance of protecting not only our work environment, but the environment we live in as well. Our actions today determine how we will be remembered in the future, and we are committed to building a future we will all be proud of.

In keeping with our commitment to the environment, AGE partners with environmental consultants, transporters and disposal sights that maintain the same level of commitment to protect the air, land and water as our own operation. We work with our vendors to promote waste minimization and have won an environmental award for our achievements.

The goal at AGE Refining, Inc. is not only to meet but to exceed all environmental regulations and continue to promote a safe and healthy environment.
